Prestatyn Weather and Tides
We provide this weather page for both locals and visitors to Prestatyn. We seem to have our own micro-climate here on the coast of the Vale of Clwyd.

One thing to consider is that an onshore wind is a Northerly to Northwesterly and that generally wind in that direction blows up the high street, we also notice that the conditions do change with the tide state.

Lots of tourists visit Prestatyn more a multitude of reasons, the wonderful walking locally is a very good reason with Offa’s Dyke path starting or finishing here dependant upon your direction of travel.
We also see and meet lots of people coming to Pontins, Presthaven Sands, Lido Beach, Robin Hood Camp and of course the Nova.
We also attract a lot of visitors to Parc Prestatyn and our vibrant high shops, bars and cafes.
Prestatyn (which is working towards becoming dementia friendly) has lots of regular community events, from St Davids Day through to Christmas each year.
