It is about learning more about dementia and the small ways you can help. From telling friends about Dementia Friends to visiting someone you know living with dementia, every action counts.

Dementia Friends Information Sessions are run by volunteer Dementia Friends Champions, trained and supported by Alzheimer’s Society.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, talks and acts about the condition. Dementia touches the lives of millions of people across the UK.

Artisans Collective are facilitating and chairing the steering group that was formed after the initial meeting with Dr James Davies MP for the Vale of Clwyd, with the full support of our town council.

We are also creating a “friendly zone” alongside the Old Library in Prestatyn.
