National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2016

National Lottery Good Causes Awards in Glasgow and London.

During August and September fortunately we were invited by Grow Wild to attend events to celebrate. They were voted by the public to be Best Environment Project in the National Lottery Awards 2016!

Below is a video of including our Peter representing our community in Prestatyn.

Filming was carried out at the Scottish flagship site at Barrhead near Glasgow.

On September 9th 2016 Pete attended TV studios in London. Representing Artisans Collective as one of Grow Wild’s community groups. Which was a fantastic honour.

The National Lottery Awards show was hosted by John Barrowman. The glittering award show which celebrates the work of the nation’s favourite lottery-funded projects.

Presenting the awards at this star-studded event are Ainsley Harriott, Ralf Little, Anita Rani and Kimberly Wyatt, as well as many more big names.

There was also music from pop sensation Nathan Sykes, plus a big finale with the presentation of the Special Achievement Award.

It was a fantastic networking event as well as a celebration of all things good about the National Lottery good causes. It is nice to think that at a local level the campaign has involved so many community groups in Prestatyn.
